Senior Accountant

Propeller Aero Services (Propeller) seeks an experienced Senior Accountant at its offices in Everett, WA. In this hands-on role, you will be primarily responsible for all finance activities of the company, including accounting operations, budget management, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial statements.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Handling all accounting operational functions, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records
  • Managing the budget process, to include preparing and revising operational and capital budgets and analyzing performance
  • Analyzing business and financial data, creating financial models to support organizational decision-making
  • Preparing and presenting periodic financial reports, internal and external financial statements
  • Developing automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
  • Processing the company's payroll
  • Coordinating the activities of internal and external auditors
  • Maintaining and enhancing finance-related internal policies and procedures

YOUR REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. CPA or master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of professional-level accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, financial statement auditing, or fiscal administrative experience
  • Work history at a commercial service airport or fixed base operator (FBO), or other background in aviation, is a plus
  • Highly organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • An outstanding communicator, both written and verbal
  • Capable of navigating and thriving in a fast-moving and complex work environment
  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Polished, professional, and well-presented
  • Tech savvy, proficient with PC, Outlook and MS Office, and Dropbox

Aircraft Line Service Technician

The Aircraft Line Service Technician position provides an excellent customer service experience by providing various aircraft ground services for clients and Line Service Technicians. In this role you will work with fuels and other flammable, hazardous materials and must adhere to proper handling procedures. The airport area is a high noise environment; the use of personal protection equipment is required. Operating vehicles and moving aircraft in close proximity of people, buildings and other aircraft require extreme caution. Procedures must be followed for your personal safety, the safety of others, and the protection of company and customer property. Line Service Technicians require the following: good decisionmaking skills, the ability to follow company procedures; flexibility in a dynamic working environment; as well as possess good interpersonal skills.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

  • Provide excellent customer service to all flight crew, passengers and clients in all interactions
  • Fuel aircraft
  • Tow aircraft into position on ramp and in hanger
  • Complete necessary training programs as required by company and airport policy
  • Drive and operate various line service vehicles including fuel truck and tugs
  • Marshal arriving and departing aircraft
  • Load and unload luggage for passengers
  • Assist flight crew with pre and post flight services and any other ground service requests
  • Complete necessary training programs as required by company and airport policy
  • Park arriving passengers' vehicles in designated areas and stage returning passengers vehicles for their convenience
  • Clean facilities and ground equipment including hangar floors and tugs as directed by supervisor
  • Perform additional line service duties under direct supervision as part of on-the-job training

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Previous experience in line service experience preferred but will train the right individual
  • Experience with tugs, forklift, or other power-driven equipment is preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers' license with an excellent driving record
  • Must pass drug and alcohol testing, background check, and submit to random testing when required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of aviation and/or hospitality industry desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK CONDITIONS

  • Stepping up/down on ladders, tugs, and fuel trucks.
  • Lift luggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft, up to 75 lbs.
  • Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment, up to 75 lbs.
  • Vision should be 20/20 or corrected to 20/20.
  • Stooping below wings to chock aircraft
  • Standing and walking for extended periods, running when required.
  • Good hand-eye coordination with good peripheral vision

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
